Alonso: 20 races and more testing
Fernando Alonso has called for the ban on in-season testing to be relaxed, although that doesn't mean he wants the calendar reduced.
This year, Formula One will visit a record 20 race-tracks with the season kicking off in Australia on March 13th and ending in Brazil at the end of November.
But before the season starts, the teams will take part in four pre-season tests which will be run over just 15 days.
However, Alonso reckons that's not enough testing time - especially for F1's new drivers.
"I like 20 races, I like racing, competing so to have more races is welcome," the Ferrari driver said.
"But I also like testing so I'd like 20 races and more testing. It's not easy and it's unfair for new drivers that they cannot test more."
