Morning’s work completed at Jerez
Jerez de la Frontera, 10 February – The second winter test session, prior to the start of the season, which kicks off in just over a month in Bahrain, got off on the right foot this morning, with Felipe Massa at the wheel. Under sunny skies, that warmed up the Jerez de la Frontera track, the Brazilian has already done 51 laps, running through everything that was on the development programme for the new car for the morning. The main focus was on aerodynamic testing and learning more about the behaviour of the new Pirelli tyres. Felipe’s best time was a 1.20.709, which at 13.15, was the fastest set on this the opening day.

Jerez de la Frontera, 10 febbraio – Felipe Massa ha iniziato col piede giusto la seconda sessione di prove che precedono il primo Gran Premio dell’anno, in programma fra poco più di un mese ad Abu Dhabi. Sotto un bel sole che sta riscaldando il circuito di Jerez de la Frontera il pilota brasiliano ha percorso già 51 giri, portando a termine tutto il programma di sviluppo della nuova monoposto previsto per la mattinata, incentrato su prove di aerodinamica e di approfondimento del comportamento delle nuove gomme Pirelli. Il miglior tempo di Felipe è stato 1.20.709, fino alle 13.15 il migliore di questa giornata inaugurale.
