Jerez to witness three debuts

Testing resumes at Jerez on Thursday with McLaren, Force India and Virgin debuting their new 2011 challengers.

Last week, the teams spent three days running at the Valencia circuit with Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Robert Kubica each finishing a day with the top honours.

But, this Thursday, a new name will be at the top of the pile as none of the trio are in action on Day One.

Vettel has been replaced by Mark Webber for the opening day of testing while Felipe Massa steps in for Fernando Alonso.

As for Kubica, the Pole is expected to be out of action for a few months, if not the entire season, following his horrific rally accident last Sunday leaving the testing duties to his team-mate Vitaly Petrov.

Three cars will be making their on-track debuts with McLaren's new MP4-26 in action with Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel. Adrian Sutil will be driving the new VJM04 while Timo Glock is in charge of Virgin's MVR-02.
