Robert Kubica leaves Intensive Care
The first big sign that Robert Kubica is on the road to recovery happened on Thursday morning, as the Pole was moved from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) into a normal hospital ward.
Kubica is still scheduled to under-go surgery on his foot and elbow, these are expected to happen over the weekend and last a few hours each.
Media has reported that if everything goes well with the Pole's upcoming surgery and he heals as well as he has been doing, then Robert could be discharged from hospital as early as the end of next week.
