Melkus RS2000 GT and Melkus RS2000 GTS


Melkus will debut at Top Marques in Monte Carlo, scheduled for next weekend, with the RS 2000 and the GT and GTS models in construction. The German coupe will have a 2-liter turbo, capable of 300 and 350 hp and coupled to a dual-clutch gearbox, compared with a weight of only 975 kg. Melkus RS2000 GT reaches 100 km/h acceleration in 4.5 seconds, while Melkus RS2000 GTS stops the timer at 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 300 km/h.

The Melkus RS2000 GTS can count on new components made ​​of carbon fiber for the bodywork and aerodynamic modified with a specific rear extractor, while both versions offer AP brakes and Ohlins adjustable shock absorbers. Faced with a production of about 25 units a year, the Melkus RS2000 GT version will be offered in Germany for 122,000 euro, while for the Melkus RS2000 GTS will be needed for 148,000 euro, including taxes, with many customization possibilities arising from the operation of virtually every model craft.
