Ferrari World Abu Dhabi – This Year’s Coolest Summer Destination
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (11 May 2011): Families looking to beat the heat in the UAE this summer need to look no further than the fantasy and excitement at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
As the largest indoor theme park in the world, visitors now have a red hot reason to experience more than 20 Ferrari inspired rides and attractions in one spectacularly designed air-conditioned space.
“For people looking for something exciting as the temperature soars, there couldn’t be a better place than Ferrari World Abu Dhabi,” said Andy Keeling, Park Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. “With more than 86,000 SQM of indoor space packed with rides and attractions for the whole family, we look forward to having a fun-packed summer.”
On entering the park, guests will first be struck by the sheer scale of the interiors, completely enclosed by the iconic Ferrari red roof, featuring the world’s largest Prancing Horse logo.
The enormous crystal-glazed funnel at the heart of the park houses one of its most spine-tingling rides – G-Force – which affords bird’s eye views across the park followed by a 62-metre free fall.
Other must-try rides include multi-sensory attractions such as Driving with the Champion, which lets you experience what it feels like to ride shot gun with champion race driver Fernando Alonso, complete with tight corners that will have you hanging onto your seat and real splashes of water as you race through puddles.
Kids won’t feel left out, with several of the most popular rides aimed at Ferrari’s youngest fans. From the Driving School which teaches kids real-life driving skills to the ultimate fantasy 4 D adventure, racing through a simulation of icy caves and bubbling volcanoes on Speed of Magic, children will be in for an unforgettable ride.
Add the world’s fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa, a priceless display of classic Ferraris at Galleria Ferrari, authentic Italian cafes and restaurants and signature Ferrari boutiques to the mix and it isn’t hard to figure out where most UAE families will be heading this summer.
