Jaguar C-X75 emerges
Carl Peter Forster, the manager of Tata Motors delegated, confirmed the production of a supercar inspired by the Jaguar C-X75 Concept.
Jaguar responded to the fans request to produce in series the C-X75 concept. Received with applause from the audience in the open stage at the Paris Motor Show last fall, and received the Louis Vuitton Award for its distinguished look, the concept has been making furore among auto enthusiasts and sparked more speculation about the possibility of a series production.

Forster confirmed British manufacturer intention to give birth to the Jaguar C-X75 “within the timescales of a conventional model programme.” But the serial version will be extremely limited. The audience will see on the street just 250 copies of the supercar.
Giugiaro and will work also at the final design, but the Italians will be helped by Frank Williams and his team to produce the carbon fiber and other composite materials needed. The two partners will study the possibility of offering a hybrid drive train, which will be based on a gasoline engine, 1.6-liter supercharged with an architecture similar to the future engine from Formula 1.
These solutions will replace the whole engine propulsion proposed by the Jaguar C-X75 concept, abandoned due to technical complexity and the high production costs. The hybrid complex will be completed by a electrical unit on each axis and a lithium-ion battery pack.
Forster was keen to satisfy even the most curious fans, claiming that the supercar’s maximum speed will exceed 320 km/h. Acceleration from 0-100 kmh will be made in less than three seconds, and autonomy in electric mode will total 50 kilometers. The performance will be possible thanks to a total mass of 1400 kg, achieved by using lightweight materials.
According to British journalists, Jaguar C-X75 would cost about £700,000 and it will be produced exclusively in the United Kingdom.
