Ferrari at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
Maranello, 30 June – This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place this weekend. The event is one of the most prestigious meetings for historic cars of all types, racing and sports cars and is a truly memorable spectacle for fans who flock to watch. Cars tackle a hillclimb in the grounds of Lord March’s Goodwood House in West Sussex. The field covers every aspect of sports motoring, from the earliest cars of the twentieth century right up to current Formula 1 cars. Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro will be represented by an F10 and an F60, which competed in the Formula 1 World Championship over the past two seasons and they will be driven by Marc Gene, the Catalan driver who works for the Maranello Scuderia on car development. Representing the Prancing Horse’s road cars will be the new FF, the four seater, four wheel drive most versatile and powerful car ever produced by Ferrari, the extreme sports car, the 458 Italia, in its two tone version with Fire Red coloured bodywork and a Black Daytona roof, as well as the convertible Ferrari California 8 cylinder, in Tour de France blue with the roof and front pillars in Titanium Grey, recalling the traditional colours seen on the sports cars in the Fifties and Sixties.
