From Russia with love

Moscow, 16 July – The enthusiasm of the fans was unforgettable this morning at Moscow’s Red Square as they greeted Giancarlo Fisichella and the Ferrari F10 Formula 1 car at the Moscow City Racing event. The car with which Scuderia Ferrari competed in last year’s Formula 1 World Championship was on show at the symbol of the Russian capital, alongside the F60, from the 2009 season, the display taking place against the backdrop of the historic St Basil Cathedral. In this amazing setting, the Italian race driver who arrived here yesterday, met Eugene Kaspersky, the managing director and co-founder of Kaspersky Lab, world leaders in IT security and a sponsor of the Scuderia since November 2010. Fisichella spent a long time with the fans, signing autographs and posing for photos in the square that was closed to traffic already ahead of tomorrow’s event. He will attend a press conference alongside other well known faces from the world of motor sport, before taking part in a demonstration run along a 4.5 kilometre route through the streets of the city, featuring many corners and a long straight.
