Ferrari Challenge North America – The victory laurels go to Cheung, Hinestrosa and Ockey in Toronto
Maranello, 10 July – The curtain has come down on the fourth round of the North American Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. 24 Ferraris took to the track for two races, on the same card as the Honda Indy Toronto, an Indy Car race which is held every year on the Toronto street circuit. Among the gentleman drivers at the wheel of the 458 Challenge, the win in both races went to Harry Cheung in the Ferrari of Silicon Valley car. As for the F430 Challenge runners, Race 1 ended in a win for Juan Hinestrosa of Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, while Race 2 saw the win go to Ferrari of Ontario driver Damon Ockey. The Stars and Stripes series of the one-make championship sees the Ferraris back in action over the weekend of 31 July for Round 5 at the Lime Rock Park circuit at Lakeville, Connecticut.
