Nico and Michael took their MGP W02 cars around the Hungaroring for the first time this morning in the first of the practice sessions of the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend.
In mild conditions with air temperature averaging around 20C and track temperatures around 22C, the team completed the first phase of our usual Friday preparations. Nico completed 22 laps with a fastest time of 1.24.250 and finished in seventh place, while Michael finished in eighth place, 0.169s behind Nico after completing 20 laps. More news to follow this afternoon after the second practice session of the day!
