Team Lotus was in Russia on Sunday for the Moscow City Racing demonstration, taking Formula 1 to the masses on the streets of the nation's capital.
Reserve driver Karun Chandhok and third driver Luiz Razia wowed a bumper crowd with two stints each on the 4.5km street course around the Kremlin and Red Square.
There were burnouts, there were doughnuts and there were speeds of up to 240kph on the stretch in front of the Kremlin.
Karun Chandhok: "Russia has a grand prix coming up and there seems to be a lot of excitement among the public here, which is great - unless you can get a crowd, there's no point in having a race. But there seems to be a lot of interest for Formula 1 in this country. It's been an eye-opener for me, it's a beautiful city with amazing architecture. To drive down the long straight alongside the wall of the Kremlin was pretty mega."
Luiz Razia: "It was a really good day, we had so much fun with the crowd and the doughnuts - the tyres were nearly finished in the end! It was quite cool, the people were excited, we were excited to be here as well, and it was a great day."
