We're all set to wow Russian fans with a taste of Formula One
Next weekend we'll be in Russia - starting out on our journey towards Sochi 2014 - where the much-anticipated inaugural Russian Grand Prix will take place – by taking part in the Formula Sochi Speed Festival on the city’s streets.
Timo and Jérôme will give the Russian fans the breath-taking experience of seeing a Formula One car at close quarters on a temporary circuit built around the Black Sea resort next Sunday, 17 July.
The first ever Russian race will become a home Grand Prix for us, the only Anglo-Russian team on the grid, and we've taken some bold steps in recent weeks to make sure we're in a position to compete for a podium finish in Sochi in three years’ time.
In addition to the on-track action, Timo and Jérôme will take part in a busy programme of promotional activities which, as you'd expect, will give the fans the opportunity to get up close and personal. We'll also be linking up with Marussia Motors, a major investor and title sponsor of the team, who will be showing the public their first Russian supercar.
