Karun Chandhok had dinner in a pizza restaurant in Spa this evening. A quiet evening with the Team Lotus management was ruined when a couple of English journalists walked in and started taking the Mickey out of the Indian cricket team. “We'll get you back one day!” said Karun.
Members of the British media were clutching tomes entitled ‘McLaren: The Wins’ this morning. They were given their books at a launch party last night, at which McLaren PR boss Matt Bishop revealed the book is already out of date! “Due to long lead times,” he said, “we weren’t able to include Lewis and Jenson’s wins in Germany and Hungary.” A nice problem to have…
Mercedes threw a party for Michael Schumacher this evening to celebrate his 20th anniversary in Formula One. Loads of people turned up for the party, including AT&T Williams star Rubens Barrichello, but there were some notable absentees. We hope he has a good anniversary race today.
