GP2 – Bianchi facing tough start
Monza, 9 September – Among the competitors in the ninth and final round of the GP2 Series, the honour of taking the final pole on offer went to the Barwa Addax Team’s Charles Pic. He outpaced Scuderia Coloni’s Luca Filippi and Rapax driver Fabio Leimer. Jules Bianchi, the Ferrari Driver Academy student will start from way back on the tenth row. The Frenchman, who currently lies third in the championship, could do no better than nineteenth in his Lotus Art, never finding a clear track and hindered by a yellow flag towards the end, after the Dams of Pal Varhaug suffered a puncture and went straight on at the first chicane. The first GP2 race gets underway tomorrow at 15.40.
