Rob Smedley supports a charity auction with F1 memorabilia

Maranello, 1 September – An exclusive tour of the Ferrari facility, attending an F1 test, items signed by Stefano Domenicali, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa and a Giancarlo Fisichella replica helmet are just some of the lots on offer in a special Formula 1 themed auction aimed at raising funds for the “Zoe’s Place” children’s hospital. The auction takes place tomorrow at Beamish Hall Country House Hotel, in Stanley, County Durham (UK.) Among the hosts will be Felipe Massa’s race engineer, Rob Smedley, who along with his wife Lucy was the driving force in collecting the special F1 memorabilia. After losing a baby in 2007, the couple has been heavily involved in fundraising aimed at helping paediatric hospitals.

For further details on the auction and bidding, contact Zoe’s Place - Elaine@zoes-place.org.uk.
