Unsung heroes of motorsport welcomed to our home
Twenty volunteer marshals, the great unsung heroes of Formula 1 and motorsport in general, were our guests at the McLaren Technology Centre yesterday for a tour of our premises.
The marshals, who had entered a competition during National Motorsport Week, had a good look around and got their picture taken with Lewis Hamilton’s Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP4-23 - the World Championship winning car from 2008. Our guests, like all marshals, were all from various backgrounds and with different levels of experience, from a few months to decades of dedicated involvement in motorsport, and we were proud to have them visit us.
