The team began its preparations for the Singapore Grand Prix today with the first of the practice sessions kicking off at 18:30pm at the Marina Bay Circuit. The session was delayed by 30 minutes and shortened to an hour due to damaged kerbs around the track which needed to be fixed before the action commenced. The available track time was further shortened by two red flags during the session, the first due to a car which stopped on track and the second because of further work required on the kerb between turns seven and eight.
Michael and Nico were still able to complete some good work with Michael finishing the session in eighth place with a fastest time of 1.52.416, and Nico concluding the session in tenth, with a fastest time of 1.52.815.
