WEBBER MAKES HIS ARTISTIC MARK IN MONZA

Sep 10, 2011

Mark took part in a charity art project in the Italian Paddock this weekend - and it was all in a good cause.

F1 tyre-supplier Pirelli had invited our Australian and four other drivers (Rubens Barrichello, Timo Glock, Kamui Kobayashi and Jarno Trulli) to create the piece of work under the guidance of artist Mark Dickens using wet and intermediate tyres for a commission by Bernie Ecclestone.

Dickens will produce various works of art from the drivers’ canvas and some will be presented to the city of Monza. The canvas itself was auctioned this weekend with proceeds going to an as yet undisclosed charity.
