The final sixty minutes of free practice for the Singapore Grand Prix were intense, as the Scuderia Toro Rosso crew worked hard to make up for lost track time yesterday.

Sébastien Buemi completed 19 laps on his way to twelfth place on the time sheet, while Jaime Alguersuari was 18th, with 17 laps to his name. Mark Webber was fastest for Red Bull Racing, followed by the McLaren of Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel in the other Red Bull. Fernando Alonso was the best of the Ferraris in fifth, with Lewis Hamilton sixth for McLaren. Unlike yesterday’s two sessions, this one went off smoothly with no unexpected interruptions. Next on the agenda is the first key moment of the weekend, with qualifying getting underway at 10pm. As usual at Singapore, teams deal with the strange phenomenon of ambient and track temperature getting lower during the working period as the timetable moves into the night.
