A busy afternoon for Jaime Alguersuari in India. The Spaniard had to pay a visit to Race Direction to report a suspected yellow flag infringment. However, after showing the telemetry evidence, he escaped any punishment. Afterwards, he told us how his day had been so far:
"We tried a set-up today that did not suit me and I found it quite difficult to keep the car in a straight line out there. I I felt as if I was on the edge all the time. In the first session, I lost control and hit the barrier with the rear of the car at Turn 9. The guys did a good job to get it all repaired for the start of the second practice. I am sure we can have a better feeling for the car tomorrow and improve our position and pace."

"No me he sentido cómodo con el coche hoy"

Tarde de mucho movimiento para Jaime Alguersuari en India. El español ha debido visitar la sala de comisarios, que le reclamaban por una supuesta ignorancia de unas banderas amarillas, posibilidad luego descartada con evidencia telemétrica. Acto seguido, ha hecho un resumen de su jornada de hoy:
"Hemos probado un setup con el que no acabo de sentirme cómodo, y estoy teniendo dificultades hasta para mantener el coche en línea recta. Es como si estuviera en el límite todo el tiempo. En la primera sesión perdí el control del coche y golpeé las barreras con la zaga del monoplaza en la curva 9. Los chicos hicieron un trabajo excelente para tenerlo listo para la segunda práctica. Estoy seguro de que mañana tendré un mejor feeling y mejoraremos tanto nuestro ritmo como la posición".
