Be a trainee at the Brazilian GP courtesy of AkzoNobel!
Work at the final race of the season making sure the MP4-26 is the best-finished car on the grid!
How would you like to come to the Brazilian GP in Sao Paulo for a VIP tour of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes pit and the chance to work with our partner AkzoNobel, the world’s largest coatings company, who provide the awesome finish to our cars?
Well you have one last chance to enter this awesome competition to win a Formula 1 traineeship. During the weekend of the race, November 25-27, you’ll work for AkzoNobel, performing a final check of the entire car and record your findings. Then, during the race, you’ll have to keep a close eye on the performance of the paint and quality of the colour under the extreme conditions of a Formula 1 race. And remember to take those notes, because you’ll have to report back to AkzoNobel afterwards.
In order to win this incredible traineeship you go to facebook.com/akzonobel and register – you’ll then have to show your motivation for F1 and innovation, either by uploading a video or in writing.
AkzoNobel’s Tim van der Zanden said the company’s partnership with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes had already produced incredibly valuable results and that the winner would be helping to innovate further.
“Paint is not just paint. Weight and time are crucial in the coating of Formula 1 cars,” he said, “and through our partnership we have already reduced the number of layers of paint needed on the car, and also the drying time for each layer has come down from eight hours to four, which is vital.
“It’s also good news for the public because we take what we learn in our partnership and use it in our Sikkens brand which is used by the car industry. In fact, 80% of our innovations become available to the car industry as a whole.”
If you want to be in with a chance of winning this amazing opportunity, which includes flights and accommodation, don’t delay, there are only a few days left. Enter at facebook.com/akzonobel or visit traineeforaday.com
