With the Gresini MotoGP team based in Faenza, everyone at Scuderia Toro Rosso was touched by the tragic death of Marco Simoncelli and wanted to pay a public tribute to him in India, so a board with the legend “Ciao Sic” (the late Italian’s nickname) was placed in front of both our cars on the grid.
