SEMA Show 2010: Mopar

Mopar efforts to display a series of unique products at SEMA Show 2010 have been successful. Thus, Mopar has managed to have its own “alley” at SEMA 2010, featuring some of the hottest vehicles in the show.

At SEMA Show this year, Mopar decided to present no less than 35 cars, among which Dodge, Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram Truck vehicles. However, the most spectacular exhibits in the Mopar Alley are 2011 RedLine Dodge Charger, a customized 2010 Fiat 500, the 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel “Black & Tan” and the 2011 Jeep Street Cherokee.

Mopar’s great car exhibition and the fact that they managed to occupy 15, 300 square foot area with customized vehicles are the results of hard work and also of a successful collaboration with the famous custom-car builder and also owner of Rich Evans Designs and Hunting Beach Bodyworks, Rich Evans. Nevertheless, the masterpieces displayed on Mopar Alley are the projects of the hard-working Mopar members such as Mark Allen, Chief Designer-Head of Jeep Design Studio, Jeff Gale, Advance Studio Design Lead, Brian Rogos, Head of Accessories and Performance Parts, Ralph Gilles, President and Chief Executive Officer and Pat Muldoon, Chief of Mopar Product Development.

“We have created an amazing cast of Mopar image vehicles for SEMA 2010. We wish to inspire customization and personalization. Our Mopar icon vehicles will definitely impress the audience”, said Ralph Gilles about the Mopar participation at SEMA 2010.

Mopar has team up with Rich Evans in order to create a custom Dodge Challenger for SEMA Show 2010. The project began with a 2010 Dodge Challenger as a base, Evans modifying and playing with some of the Mopar parts. While creating his masterpiece, Evans utilized his own customized products and Mopar compounding parts, as well as products made by aftermarket suppliers.

The result is undoubtedly one of the most interesting super cars in the SEMA Show 2010. And it could not be in any other way having such a talented and experienced craftsman. Rich Evans’ master works have been presented in many movies and TV shows such as Monster Garage, Cut & Rebuilt, Pimp my Ride or Man Cave and Chop. He has created some of the most appealing cars which can be also admired on the street nowadays.

What’s more, Rich Evans is going to be the judge in the “Top Eliminator” Mopar tuner program at SEMA Show this year. The participants are Mopar fans who have modified their Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler or Ram cars in order to gain a place on the Mopar Alley.

From another point of view, here are some of the stars in Mopar exhibition:

2011 Dodge Durango Citadel “Black & Tan”, considered to be the latest extraordinary display of the Dodge Durango vehicles, is the perfect car for SUV fans.

Glimmering in a stunning black paint color, the Citadel features the clean lines of 2011 Dodge Durango. It sits on 22-inch aluminum Super Alloy wheels, extremely well polished and displaying hyper-silver accentuations. Moreover, Citadel is equipped with Pirelli tires, a chrome grille and stainless steel tips of the Mopar exhaust.

The interior, designed by the Chrysler interior studio features three rows of Nappa leather seats, highly crafted panels and true quality materials.

2011 RedLine Dodge Charger represents an aggressive presence at SEMA Show 2010. The competency of the Charger matches its look, as it is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI® engine, placed under an exceptional aluminum hood. The headers, cold-air intake and exhaust system, strut tower brace-all created by Mopar, offer the car improved horse power and torque.

Both the interior and exterior of the 2011 RedLine Dodge Charger are amazing, reminding us of its ancestors and in the same way emphasizing the creative and innovative sides of its creators.

2011 Jeep Street Cherokee is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine and it also stands on 22-inch alloy wheels. The Chrysler Group Product Design Team has customized the vehicle in a typical Mopar manner, lowering the vehicle, equipping it with unique design floor mats, lighted door-entry sills and bright pedals. The door sills are tattooed with the Mopar signature.

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Off-Road Edition, is a Cherokee prepared for the bumpy roads, featuring 33-inch BFG Mud-Terrain tires. The exterior of the vehicle has been modified in order to face the off-rode difficulties and the interior was tuned with the Mopar bright pedal kit and sill guards.

2011 Wrangler Sahara Mopar Edition is considered to be an extraordinary off-road machine. Mopar has improved 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara performances by equipping it with 35-inch tires, AEV wheels, steel front and back bumpers, new fog lights (integrated on the front bumper) and a tire carrier placed in the back of the vehicle.

2010 Fiat 500, being an extreme version of the European variant, features a front airdam, spoiler, rear valance and brake ducts. Mopar Underground team has also lowered the car by placing it on 18-inch Alcoa wheels and creating flared wheel arches reminding us of an old race car model.

The Dark Thunderbolt Gray exterior, with a black hood, black roof, and fascia graphics creates the slight impression of a Fiat tiny fireball. The interior is dominated by red hues and black accents.

All in all Mopar is one of the greatest participants at SEMA Show 2010, one that always manages to impress its public.
