2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty by Airhead Kustoms and Cars by Kris called The Pit Boss at SEMA Show 2010.
Cars by Kris and Airhead Kustoms delivers the Pit Boss, at the 2010 SEMA Show, the ultimate tow and support vehicle built on a Ford F-350 Super Duty platform. Built to haul a race car to the track and serve as a mobile pit, the truck offers a bed-mounted tire cage and custom swing-case toolboxes. The interior features custom headliner and leather upholstery, along with sound-deadening material and an in-dash computer system. The already powerful stock pickup was given a even more powerful boost thanks to the addition of a Snow Performance water/methanol injection system, Nitrous Express diesel nitrous system and an AFE Power cold air intake. For the suspension, they used a DJM Suspension setup that uses front lowering beams, beastly shock absorbers and a rear flip kit . Also included, they used Hellwig anti-roll bars and Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs to further aid the already heavy duty suspension іn keeping The Pit Boss іn check. Inside, thе 2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty interior hаѕ bееn upgraded wіth a custom headliner аnԁ leather upholstery and a Rockford Fosgate sound system and a Dashboard Devices in-dash computer give this vehicle everything it needs to entertain.
This truck gives you an idea of what a race Ford F-350 looks like. Namely, it is Ford who has the sales figures highest in this segment and has been for over 40 years.
At the SEMA Show 2010, 2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty – The Pit Boss by Airhead Kustoms and Cars by Kris won from the organizers the Award for the Hottest Truck.
This demonstration of brute force proves, according to Ford officials, that the F platform is very versatile. Talking about the 2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty, Melvin Betancourt (present at the 2010 SEMA Show), Ford specialty design manager said: “these trucks sell imagery across the board. Customers in the truck world want to go off-roading, or at least have the image that they can, or have a truck they can cruise in. We have trucks that fit everything in those categories.”
