Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has ruled out making any sweeping changes within the team despite the disappointment of not winning either the drivers' or constructors' titles in 2010.

Italian reports hinted that chief engineer Chris Dyer's position was in danger following the botched race strategy in Abu Dhabi that cost Fernando Alonso the title. But di Montezemolo denied heads would roll.

"Changes within the team? That is not our philosophy, because for years now we have adopted a policy based on dynamic stability," said di Montezemolo at Ferrari's end-of-season 'world finals' event in Valencia. "A few minor adjustments are possible, but no major upheaval. And after all, it has to be said that if we had not got it wrong with that "penalty kick" in Abu Dhabi, today the discussion would be completely different."

Di Montezemolo also called for "total clarity" of the new rules and regulations ahead of the 2011 season, which sees the return of KERS, the arrival of Pirelli as F1's tyre supplier and adjustable rear wings to encourage more overtaking.

"We are starting from a solid base; I'm thinking here of the fact that at the end of last year, our energy recovery system was very competitive. As for the rear wing, I hope we start the season with total clarity as regards the regulations. I am not worried about it, but our experience of 2009 still grates."
