Marlboro set to renew Ferrari deal
Marlboro are reportedly on the verge of extending their title sponsorship deal with Ferrari.
Despite many countries banning tobacco advertising and sponsorship, Marlboro have remained as Ferrari's title sponsor with their current deal expiring at the end of this season.
However, a new contract, which could run until the end of 2014, is already in the pipeline and could be confirmed at Ferrari's 28th January launch.
"We see no obstacles in the way of extension," a spokesman for Philip Morris, Marlboro's parent company told Autosport.
"Our relationship with Ferrari is a real partnership built over a period of over 20 years of constant, mutual support."
