The annual Thai Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar is back. Hosted by the diplomatic wives together with the Thai Red Cross Society, the event is set to be held this coming Saturday (26 February 2011) and Sunday (27 February 2011).
As the previous year, the bazaar will be held at the Siam Paragon in the Royal Paragon Hall on the 5th floor. During the launching at 8am on Saturday, the Crown Princess Maha Chakri Siridhon will preside on her throne.
The different countries participating in this bazaar will have their very own national handicrafts and goods on display for the public to see. Interesting prizes sponsored by the embassies and business companies will be given out to some lucky winners.
This bazaar is a joint effort of the diplomatic wives to raise funds and financially aid the Thai Red Cross Society in purchasing medical equipment to improve the health and nursing care available to Thai locals.
