The Germans from Kicherer have created a tuning package for Mercedes GL 420 CDI. Thanks to it, Mercedes GL SUV produces 375 hp and develops 900 Nm.
German tuning house Kicherer has prepared for SUV fans a big surprise. They have created a package body and a performance kit for Mercedes GL-Klasse, which they named GL Sport Black 42. Thanks to amendments made by the tuners, Mercedes SUV enjoys more aggressive and sportiveness.
Under the hood of the Mercedes GL-Klasse we find a 4.2-liter V8 engine that normally produces 302 hp and develops 700 Nm. Due to changes in program offered by Kicherer ,Mercedes GL Sport Black 42 is now offering 375 horses and produces a torque of 900 Nm. Surplus power comes thanks to Kicherer PowerConverter kit and new exhaust system with four tailpipes.
Moreover, Airmatic suspension was also improved. Outside, the SUV from Stuttgart received a matte black paint, the grid was “painted” in the same color as the car body and 22-inch alloy wheels from Vogue. Inside, Kicherer has replaced the series with a sport steering wheel.
