Chinese GP - Alonso fifth and Massa sixth in the third free practice session
Shanghai, 16 April – Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull was quickest in the third and final free practice session for the Chinese Grand Prix this morning at the Shanghai International Circuit. The German posted a time of 1.34.968, to finish ahead of the two McLarens of Jenson Button (1.35.176) and Lewis Hamilton (1.35.373.) The Ferraris of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa were fifth and sixth respectively: the Spaniard did a best lap of 1.35.818 completing 17 in total, which was two more than team-mate Felipe Massa whose best was a 1.35.971. More aero testing for both drivers, as well as comparison work on the two types of tyre compound with an eye to qualifying.
The team has plenty of work to do in the two hours between practice and the grid deciding session for the third round of the Formula 1 World Championship.

Shanghai, 16 aprile - E’ della Red Bull di Sebastian Vettel il miglior tempo registrato nella terza e conclusiva sessione di prove libere del Gran Premio della Cina, appena conclusa presso lo Shanghai International Circuit. La vettura del pilota tedesco ha imposto il suo ritmo (1.34.968) sulle due McLaren di Jenson Button (1.35.176) e Lewis Hamilton (1.35.373). Quinto e sesto crono per le Ferrari di Fernando Alonso e Felipe Massa: il miglior giro staccato dal pilota spagnolo su un totale di 17 è stato percorso in 1.35.818, mentre il compagno di squadra Felipe Massa ne ha completati 15, di cui il migliore in 1.35.971. Per entrambe le vetture medesima configurazione aerodinamica e test comparativi tra i due diversi tipi di mescola in ottica qualifiche.
Grande lavoro attende la squadra nell’intervallo di due ore che precede l’inizio della sessione determinante per la griglia di partenza della terza prova del Campionato del Mondo di Formula 1.
