The European Ferrari Challenge comes to Valencia
Maranello, 4 May – This weekend, the Ricardo Tormo circuit, at Cheste, Valencia hosts the second round of the European Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli series. A total of 24 cars will take to the track, starting on Friday 6 May, when the meeting gets underway with free practice and two qualifying sessions, prior to the races on Sunday 8 May. The highly competitive 458 Challenge cars will compete in the two categories, Trofeo Pirelli and Coppa Shell, alongside the F430 Challenge cars entered in the Trofeo Pirelli.
Going into this round, the European classification is headed by Russia’s Alexandr Skryabin (Ferrari Moscow) while France’s Yannick Mallegol (Motor/Piacenza) heads the Coppa Shell. Comfortably leading those competitors in the F430 Challenge, we find Alexander Moiseev (Motor Piacenza.)
