Canadian GP - A lot of rain and bad luck
Montreal, 12 June – Jenson Button emerged victorious at the end of an unpredictable Canadian Grand Prix at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit. The English McLaren driver got the better of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber in the Red Bulls at the end of a race that began behind the Safety Car, which featured several more times after that. The rain was so hard that the race was interrupted for almost two hours. Once the weather improved enough for the restart, Fernando Alonso had to retire in his 150º Italia after a collision with Button, now being investigated by the stewards, while in the other Ferrari, Felipe Massa came home sixth.
The Formula 1 circus is back in action at the Valencia street circuit over the weekend of 26 June.
