Rubens Barrichello has denied reports he is considering walking away from Williams at the end of the year.
He was recently quoted by Corriere dello Sport saying: "I don't know if I will continue next year in these conditions." But on Saturday Barrichello felt he needed to set the record straight on his Twitter account.
"I saw some news saying that I wanted to stop racing," he said. "Makes me laugh really. All I want is to carry on racing."
He added: "Working double hard to have a good car for next year," he added. "Problems do exist and we are here to solve them. Williams need me as much as I need them."
