On Sunday 14th August, Michael and Nico enjoyed a day of family fun and entertainment at a packed Mercedes-Benz Motorsport Family Day in Stuttgart.
Alongside the MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Formula One duo were the Mercedes-Benz DTM drivers, including current championship leader Bruno Spengler and ex-Formula One star Ralf Schumacher.
Also on the programme were autograph signing, question & answer sessions, meet & greet events with the fans, DTM pit stop competitions and special rides around Stuttgart’s city centre for the lucky winners of a lottery, including demo drives in electric smart cars decked out in DTM and Formula One colours.
In addition, fans had the opportunity to visit an exhibition on Mercedes-Benz motorsport history, including the famous Silver Arrows and a Formula One Silver Arrow collection from 1997 through to the present.
The next Formula One race after the summer break – the Belgian Grand Prix – takes place on 28th August at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps racetrack.
