3 QUESTIONS TO JEROME BEFORE MONZA
7 Sep 2011
Two days before his first lap as a F1 driver in Monza, it was the perfect time to have a small talk with Jerome.
Jerome, is it not too difficult to have your home GP in Spa behind you now ?
Not at all. It was an intensive weekend and one of these days you will never forget for all your life. I was so proud to see all those Belgian flags around the track during the driver’s parade or when I had some time to watch the crowd close to the pits. I never signed so many signing cards and my fans were awesome. It was a pleasure to meet some of them and I hope to meet them again next year or maybe this year during other GP.
What are your feelings before Monza?
Monza is another part of the F1 legend after the Spa GP. It is a very fast track and with a very special atmosphere linked to all the “tifosis” around the track. It will be a pleasure to drive in Italy this weekend and we hope to have some improvements on the car which could help us to be more efficient.
Monza is also the last GP in Europe before travelling more around the world. What do you think about that?
F1 is a worldwide sport and it is normal to travel around the world for the different GP. It is always a pleasure to travel and to discover very different countries with other cultures. The atmosphere is very different from one GP to another and there are some fantastic tracks to come… especially Suzuka which is one of my favourite.
Good luck JDA and see you before Singapore…
