Indian GP - A very special autograph session

New Delhi, 27 October – On the opening day of official activity at the Buddh International Circuit, on the outskirts of New Delhi, there was a special charity event organised in the afternoon for a school for differently abled children. At the autograph session traditionally held at all Grands Prix for fans to meet the drivers, Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso signed paintings done by 152 children from 10 schools in the country run by eight Non Government Organisations. Along with all the other drivers, the Scuderia Ferrari duo then posed alongside the young artists for a photo to record the event. The paintings will now be auctioned to raise funds to go to the NGOs, as part of activities managed by the non-profit making Jaypee group, “Jaiprakash Sewa Santhan.” The auction is also aimed at increasing public awareness of the need for change in giving these very special children their place in society.
