Alonso and Massa Are ‘Hands On’ at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (11 Nov 2011): Scuderia Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa made their mark at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi last night, creating personalised hand moulds to go on permanent display, as part of the Speed Week event taking place until 14 November 2011.
“It’s an amazing feeling to be a part of the history of the most successful F1™ team. We are delighted to be back in Abu Dhabi once again, and always really enjoy taking a break to come to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi,” said Alonso.
Massa added: “Being a part of the Ferrari family since many years and seeing how much the marque means to people here in the UAE is a fantastic way to gear up for a big race weekend at Yas Island.”
Speed Week at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is open from 11AM-11PM through until the 14th November 2011 and features roaming artists, balloon sculptures, a kids craft zone, stilt walkers and mime artists to complement the 20 rides and attractions throughout the world’s largest indoor theme park.
The two-time Formula One World Champion Alonso and Massa are in the UAE capital for the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix taking place at Yas Marina Circuit from November 11-13.
