Brazilian GP - Just off the podium
Sao Paolo, 27 November - the final Grand Prix of the season in Brazil ended just off the podium for Scuderia Ferrari. Fernando Alonso fought right to the bitter end this afternoon but could not fend off a charging Button, very quick on the Medium tyre in the closing stages. Felipe Massa finished fifth, at the end of a two stop strategy race, partly because it was discovered that one of the Soft tyres had a puncture after qualifying. Out in front it was another one-two for Red Bull, this time with Webber first ahead of Vettel.
This result means Fernando slides further away from the Championship podium, beaten by a single point by today’s winner.
GP del Brasile - Fuori dal podio
San Paolo del Brasile, 27 novembre – Fuori da podio. Questo il verdetto del Gran Premio del Brasile, ultima gara della stagione. Fernando Alonso ha lottato fino all’ultimo in questa gara ma non è riuscito a resistere al ritorno della McLaren di Button, velocissima con le Medium. Felipe Massa ha concluso la gara al quinto posto, dopo una gara imperniata su due soste, anche a causa di una foratura trovata su uno pneumatico Soft dopo le qualifiche. Davanti, ancora una doppietta per le due Red Bull, stavolta con Webber primo e Vettel secondo.
Con questo risultato, Fernando scivola fuori dal podio del Mondiale, scavalcato di un punto dal vincitore odierno.
