How many people work in HRT? Of those, how many are Spanish?
When we are travelling to grands prix, there are approximately 60 team members at the circuit, this includes mechanics, engineers, marketing, press…Of these, exactly 15 of them are Spanish.
@JorgHRT Jorge Viegas
What difference is there between a team principal and a team manager?
The Team Principal is the boss of the team and the person who makes all the final decisions. The Team Manager coordinates race activities, that is the main difference between the two.

What’s the hardest thing to organize in an F1 team? And the easiest?
The hardest thing is to put all the small bits together in one, when you start to plan a race you have many small bits; in the race meeting you put them together as a puzzle and when you see the racecar on the track on Friday, all the pieces have to fit to be ready for the weekend. As for the easiest thing, nothing is simple but I’d have to say taking your plane ticket and getting on the flight!

even though your passion is F1, we all need to get our minds off the job. What do u do to relax and get away from it?
It is very important to take this time to relax and clear your mind, even though in this job you don’t get much time off. Personally I relax by practicing sport whenever I have the chance.

What makes a good team manager? What is more important; experience, qualifications, organisation, people skills etc?
Definitely a combination of all of these makes a good Team Manager, but I would also add that being a team player is important because you need to think always about the benefit to the team as a whole.

How much do you think the F112 will improve with the help of Williams? Will we be ready for the preseason tests?
It’s always difficult to give an exact prediction but with Williams’ partnership we will be stronger. As we’ve already seen this year we improved with their new gearboxes and by expanding this deal we can only get better. Our target is to be ready for preseason and we are working hard to achieve this.
@FormulaPortal01 FormulaDeportiva
What exactly is your job? What do you do in the team and how many people work for you?
The job includes a doing couple of jobs at the same time because in a small team you have to do more things. Running all the operations, organizing race weekends, coordinating drivers, dealing with all the Formula 1 organizations (FIA,FOM), you have to be informed about every activity in the team to be on top of it.
@raulyvero1 raulsoriac
I would like to know how important the blown diffusers would have been if HRT had them?
The blown diffuser is a big advantage for teams and even bigger if it is tuned to the limit because that helps you to gain a couple of tenths. It would be a big help if we could run the blown diffuser like the top teams are running.
@CarBasics CarBasics
what preparations is the team doing for 2013 and changing to ground effects ? Will we see a closer matched grid ?
Discussions are ongoing between the teams and the FIA to make the grid more evenly matched and getting new technical systems for the future. But at the moment we are focusing on next year’s car.
