Di Resta to partner Sutil at Force India?

Vitantonio Liuzzi could be dropped from Force India in the next few days to make way for Paul di Resta, according to several sources.

Force India and Hispania remain the only two teams to have not yet confirmed their 2011 driver line-up. The latter isn't expected to make a decision until mid-February, but it is expected Force India will name their drivers this week.

Sources suggest that Adrian Sutil will remain as the teams first driver with Scottish DTM champion Di Resta, joining him in the second seat.

It's also expected that ex-Williams driver Nico Hulkenberg will be confirmed as the teams third driver.

The German's manager, Willi Weber, told Blick that he had hoped to secure a place at McLaren for the 23-year-old, but team principal Martin Whitmarsh felt his presence could be seen as a threat to Jenson Button's 2012 seat.

"I actually wanted Nico to be the third driver at McLaren," said Weber. "But Martin Whitmarsh was worried that it would be seen as a threat to Button so he didn't want to disrupt the harmony in the team for their title hunt."
