RB7 on schedule for Valencia launch - Horner

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has confirmed that their 2011 challenger, the RB7, will almost definitely be ready for the first test in Valencia.

The outfit will join Sauber, Lotus-Renault and Toro Rosso in launching their new cars at the first test.

Meanwhile McLaren, Force India, Virgin and Hispania will run their 2010 cars in Valencia, opting to wait until the second test in Jerez to unveil their 2011 cars.

Horner admitted it would be tough to launch at the Ricardo Tormo circuit, but he's confident the Milton Keynes based team will be able to stick to its plans.

"We're on schedule for first test," he told Autosport. "It will be extremely tight to be there and ready on time, but that is our aim. We will be confirming our plans, and details about the launch, soon."
