BANGKOK, February 2011 – Presenting to the spectators around the world at this year “Sydney Mardi Gras 2011” is “The Amazing Beauty of Thailand,” parade theme specially created by Tiffany’s Show, Thailand’s top cabaret art creation, with official support from TAT.

The reflection of exotic Thai beauty that has captured people’s hearts for decades, Alisa Phanthusak Assistant Managing Dirctor, Tiffany’s Show together with official support from TAT, use Creative Marketing to promote tourism and brand ‘Thailand’ through the world-renowned event ‘Sydney Mardi Gras 2011’ which for years has attracted worldwide attention.


The significance of Thailand’s participation this year is this is the country’s first participation as a national, official representation. Tiffany’s Show invested in creation of the themed show, dancers, practices, and much more to secure the country’s brand ‘Thailand’ footprint.

Alisa Phanthusak added, “As an official national representative of Thailand, we selected distinctive art elements explicitly recognizable as ‘Thai’ or blow-your-mind-away with magnificent ornament. We have support from well-known transvestites in Thailand to name a few Poi-Treechada, Tong-Ratravee, Film-Thanyarat and Nhong-Kungsadal. The themed composition is delicately presented through Thai literary characters that will dazzle the audience in its stunning golden peacock parade which specially created.”

Thailand’s float will be participating from 2-4 March 2011 and will be parading on the 5th March 2011. The Thailand’s official float wont be possible without the tremendous support from the following names: Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Thai Hotel Association of Eastern Seaboard, The Eastern Tourist Association and Bangkok Hospital Pattaya with the presence of Mr.Sansern Ngaorungsi, Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Asia and South Pacific) Tourism Authority of Thailand, Associate Professor Dr. Seri Wongmontha, Advisor to Tiffany’s Show Pattaya, Mr. Chachawan Supachayanont, Chairman to the Thai Hotel Association of Eastern Seaboard and Mr. Pichit Kangwolkij, MD, Director, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya.
