Now you can relive the magic of Sinatra during the Frankly... I was a fool for love, an enchanting show that has been delighting audiences around the world. It will be staged in the Living Room of Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel on March 3 to 6 and March 10 to 13, starting at 9pm.
Starring Richard Shelton, the show is set at the renowned Key Club in 1959 against a backdrop of Sinatra's torn relationship with Ava Gardner, and the Kennedy elections. The show recreates a captivating performance of Sinatra giving a concert of a lifetime with 15 of his most acclaimed songs, including Fly Me To The Moon, My Funny Valentine and You Make Me Feel So Young.
Awarded best actor in the musical Rat Pack Confidential in London's West End and having sung for the British royal family, Richard Shelton is unforgettable as Sinatra. His inspired acting and sparkling renditions of Sinatra's classics are ably supported by Rebecca Egan who plays love interest, Ava Gardner.
A member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Egan is a highly regarded actress who has also appeared on British television in East Enders, Casualty, Midsomer Murders, and many more.
The musical is written, produced and directed by Nigel Miles-Thomas, whose outstanding theatrical pedigree includes Shirley Valentine starring Lorraine Chase, and Shakespeare's Women starring Susannah York.
