The future Japanese Lexus models from medium and large segment will benefit from a design directly derived from that of the Lexus LF-A supercar. Lexus LF-Gh Concept, unveiled today, certify this.
Lexus introduced today the first images of LF-Gh Concept, a prototype that promises to revolutionize the design, style and propulsion systems for premium sedans available on the market today. The concept will be launched in a world premiere at the 2011 New York International Auto Show.
Its name is an acronym derived from “Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid” and the car promises to underpin new generation of models for medium and large segment of the Japanese manufacturer, from new-generation GS. Its design reaches new horizons for Lexus, the front lines are a evolution from the LF-A supercar, with the changes that especially touch front the grid.
“For this concept, Lexus designers studied characteristics that are often considered contradictory and difficult to execute together. The captivating design of the LF-Gh concept examines the possibility of balancing what are normally opposing qualities, such as style and functionality.”
Although general photos with car’s interior are missing from the list published today by Lexus, the brand designers promise “an all-new, future and futuristic Lexus interior, which brings many modern elements .” For now, we can get an idea of how the future Lexus models will look inside from the few details published in the Lexus LF-Gh Concept official gallery.
