Mercedes-Benz E-Klasse Cabrio is Brabus 800 E V12

Brabus tuners have developed the fastest four-seat convertible in the world. The starting point was the Mercedes-Benz E-Klasse Cabrio, to which has been applied a bi-turbo V12 engine of 800 hp and 6.3 liters.

Brabus Tuning House have developed a package of modifications for Mercedes-Benz E-Class Convertible. The model is named 800 E V12 after fitting a V12 bi-turbo engine that provides 800 hp and 1100 Nm.

The engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, reinforced to withstand higher levels of torque. According to Brabus, maximum torque provided by the engine would be 1420 Nm, but transmission can’t support such a high value.

The power is distributed to the rear wheels through a limited slip differential. Maximum speed of Brabus 800 E V12 is 370 km/h (230 mph) and acceleration from 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) is achieved in just 3.7 seconds. Sprint 0-200 km/h (0-125 mph) is performed in only 9.9 seconds faster than acceleration 0-100 km/h for the volume models.

To accelerate from 0-300 km/h (186 mph), Brabus 800 E V12 model needs only 23.9 seconds. In addition to being the fastest four-seater convertible in the world, this is the most powerful four-seat cabrio in the world.
