Maranello, 14 July – For the first time, a Ferrari Formula 1 car will drive across Red Square as part of the fourth Moscow City Racing event. On Sunday, some of the most famous names in motorsport will rush through the streets of the Russian capital. It was Kaspersky Lab, a leader in the field of IT security and a Scuderia Ferrari sponsor who arranged the invitation and the honour of driving the F10, the car with which the team contested last year’s World Championship for the first time in Russia falls to Giancarlo Fisichella.
The Italian will run alongside cars from McLaren Mercedes and Lotus Renault as they tackle a 4.5 kilometre long street circuit which sees the cars start from the Kremlin before running through the historic city. Previous editions of this event have always attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd.
