Timo and Jérôme entertain the crowds in Russia
Timo and Jérôme D’Ambrosio drove an F1 car through the streets of Sochi today, and the thousands of Russian fans that turned up to welcome us were amazed.
Everyone was delighted to have the only Anglo-Russian team demonstrate what an F1 car can do on Russian soil and frankly we were delighted to be there! The city is located on the shores of the Black Sea and the summer weather was perfect. We can't wait to be back in 2014, when Sochi will host Russia's first F1 race and our goal is to be challenging for a podium there.
The action wasn't only on-track though - Timo and Jérôme entertained the crowds with DJ sets, and by signing autographs and handing out mementos of the weekend. Marussia Motors also displayed its first Russian supercar at the circuit, so it was a full on team event.
