Sergio Pérez knows he can get better results

Sergio Pérez expressed his inconformity on his performance during the 11th round of the F1 World Championship that took place this Sunday in Hungary, pulling out ten but finishing 15th.
He had problems since the beginning, started 10th and during the first lap he was back to the 20th place because he couldn’t keep the car on track and went wide at one corner losing several positions.
“I am deeply disappointed. After qualifying, which was good, I expected a lot more from the race. It had already started to go wrong on lap one. I had no grip at all and hardly managed to keep the car on track. I went wide at one corner and lost a lot of positions. I actually dropped back from 10th on the grid to 20th”, he explained.
After having recovered a little from there, he was penalized for overtaking under yellow on lap 32 when he was already 15th.
Nevertheless Sergio never gave up and kept on fighting till de end, finishing the race in P15 after he had had a tough struggle with Pastor Maldonado for that position, who at the end finished after the Sauber C30 Ferrari No. 17.
Now Formula 1 will have a 4 week summer recess and Sergio Pérez will have time to go back to Mexico, visit his family and friends, and do some analysis and reflection on his performance and development and how he can improve because he’s sure he can do much better results.
