FIA: Petrov loses 3 places – again vibrations on last set of tyres
„Qualifying today was not really special I would say. At first I hit some traffic, and in the final moment there were again vibrations on the set of tyres I used which obviously was not helpful. Saying this, this certainly does not explain the time gap to my team collegue, so we need to understand what was the reason for that and get on top of it. As for the race tomorrow, this should work out better for me, and my aim undoubtedly is to score some points. I am not really sure which side of the starting grid really will be the better one, so I just take it from there and try to gain as much as possible.“

Petrov wird 3 Startplätze nach hinten versetzt – wieder Vibrationen an den Reifen
„Das Qualifying heute war nicht gerade besonders, würde ich mal sagen. Am Anfang hatte ich zuviel Verkehr bei meinen schnellen Runden, und im eigentlichen Moment traten wieder Vibrationen an dem Reifensatz auf, was natürlich nicht gerade hilfreich war. Allerdings dürfte dies nicht den Abstand zu meinem Teamkollegen erklären, daher müssen wir jetzt den eigentlichen Grund herausfinden und das Problem angehen. Was das Rennen morgen angeht, sollte es da besser laufen. Mein Ziel ist logischerweise, einige Punkte zu holen. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, welche Seite der Startaufstellung hier die bessere ist, daher schauen wir mal und versuchen, das Beste rauszuholen.“
