It was a sunny start to the season finale at the Interlagos Circuit in Sao Paulo today. The Paddock was very much alive with media ahead of tomorrow's race proceedings and both drivers spoke of their enthusiasm for the country and its people in today's media sessions.
The three Brazilian drivers on the grid this weekend - Felipe Massa, Bruno Senna and Rubens Barrichello are also generating a nice energy around the track - there's always a buzz when there's natives on board.
Mark confirmed his soft spot for the Brazilian track saying, "We don't have any trouble getting motivated for this race. It's a little bit old school in many ways, I think a lot of people love coming here. It's a beautiful little race track, all the guys like working here which makes it a bit of an amphitheatre and the drivers like driving here. There's always a few Brazilian drivers on the grid too which makes the atmosphere even better. It's always a nice little carnival and finish and I always enjoy driving here, its a good challenge."
Sebastian echoed this passion for the circuit in his blog, "It's a bit odd how fast time has passed, but I'm really thankful that we still have this very special race in Interlagos before we head into our break. We'll put all of our energy, joy and motivation into this weekend – to end this season in style."
Nearing the end of the season meant it was also a day for end of season team photos - and with the sun facing us, that was the one and only downside to today's sunshine.
